Off Grid Must Have (s)
I want to say, "I have been living in my camper for a little over 2 years now."
I have been living in it off the grid.
If I do have to use the grid it's to charge up my batteries.
I 1st had 6 truck batteries ($75.00 each from Auto Zone) and a 3000-watt inverter.
And I just use a cheap solar panel kit
And square d breaker panel
However, in 2022 I upgrade to a 4000-watt inverter
same band. I upgrade my solar panels and MPPT.
O' lets not forget about my wire
This was the best way to get full power
As you can see red & black are on the hot
White is on the neutral
And the blueish green is on the ground
I use the jumper so I could plug into the inverter or bluttie.
The outlet is wired into the front part of the inverter.
I have a 75-gallon water tank
Water pump
Hot water heater
However, I'm going to upgrade to a gas water heater
Because it does use a lot of power.
So I will be going gas
I cook with alot of things and here they go.
Now you don't have to use what I use.
Plus, I'm not telling you to get any of the things I use.
I'm just telling you what I use.
&
What I don't use anymore.
With all that being said
My inverter runs everything but my mini split
My bluetti runs the mini split
Now I have been living without a refrigerator all this time.
I use a cooler for a little over a year but was sick of buying ice and having to let the water out.
So I learn to live without having anything having to be cold.
Turn out I really didn't need it.
With everything in the garden and placing things in front of the AC, like drinks.
Turns out all is good.
Plus, I only pay for things I will be cooking right at the time.
Like frog legs, eggs, fish, etc.
I will be upgrading everything when I move onto my property
And as I learn I will tell you.
I will not be talking for hours about this and that
I will be getting right to the point
And with that being said,
" I'm done as of today 2/21/2023"
I'll come back with more of the must have (s).
