How Many Watts

 When it comes to watts, the number 1 question should be, "How many watts do I need." Before, just jumping in and buying things you want. The answer to that question is really your answer.  Because you will be the power company of your property. You must understand your wants & your needs. They are two different things. 

Now lets get some understanding; Refrigerator is a need, lets face the facts. You really don't have to have one, but it does make life easier.   I mean I live without one for a year and a half.  I was going to build one, but after the f-150 ran the light. I have been rethinking things, because my back needs to last as long as I can let it. So there is a gas and 12 volts  refrigerator. With one will make your life easier for you. That's a question you must ask yourself.  However, gas is less watts, but then you must think about how much gas you need. Then there are 12 volts, now myself, I just go by watts. I add all my watts up and make sure it doesn't go over my watts on my inverter, which is 4000 watts. Now don't get me wrong if I turn everything on at one time, I wouldn't have enough watts. However in reality It will never happen. My reality is the 2 TVs, a water pump, macwave, refrigerator, vent fan, stove, 3 fans and maybe a phone charging or laytop. Plus, the reality is only the TV, refrigerator , 3 fans, and phone or computer are charging.  Which ends up only being 438 watts going all the time.  As for me 4000 watts work, and sometimes I hook up my air compressor. To get the answer to your question, you must know how many watts you will be using to get your answer. 

I also have a solar generator and the only job it has is to run my mini split. I do plan on getting more power , going bigger and better. I started off small just 100 watts, then to 3000 watts and right now 4000 watts and 2000 watts solar generator.  I'm looking  to have more solar generators because more than one is always best to have 6 or 9. (smile) 

So, the question is your answer you must answer when you add up things you need, from the things you just want.  You have some homework to do.
